You’ll need
4 small mirrors
Ground mugwort
Blue, green, white, or silver altar candle
Sea salt
Incense of lavender, blue sage, or nag champa
Moon Water

Notes
I don’t do protection magic because focusing on a thing holds it to you. However, I was inspired to create a cloaking spell as a way to make my koi pond invisible to predators. I cast a circle ‘round the pond to create an energetic bubble as reflective as a mirror. So when predators come around, they only see themselves, and move on to better hunting grounds.
The focus is creating a mirrored bubble that is supported by and filled with love. Love beams out from within it. Those with love energy can see through it.
The spell glows with lunar energy, so use as many moon, lunar goddess, and ocean associations as you like. A toy sea turtle, a sea shell, bowls and chalices, moon images, sea salt. Use incense and oils with watery and lunar associations.
Goddesses:
Sedna, guardian of the sea and its creatures, Diana whose bow is the crescent moon, Selene, goddess of the Witches. Your colors are silver, white, blues and greens.
Preparation
Place all items near your working area, near the item, thing or person you plan to surround with this magic.
Sit quietly. Inhale all you can hold and then a little more.
Hold four beats
Exhale all you can blow and then a little more.
Hold for three beats.
Repeat three times.
You’ll know when you’re ready. Open to sky energy from above, to earth energy from below, and feel them meet and meld in your center. Let this energy expand to fill your body. Then direct it to the palms of your hands and to the soles of your feet. Feel it pulsing there.
